Family Mission Day
Thank you to everyone who participated in Family Mission Day in support of Sharing Gods Love! 37 people were there to pack, sort, and organize, and it further solidified our relationship with a partner organization doing great work in Irmo! If you would like to continue supporting SGL, they are collecting school supplies for the upcoming school year. Urgent needs include 1" 3-ring binders that are solid colors (no designs). Other needs include dry-erase markers, yellow highlighters, 2-pocket plastic portfolio folders, 5-count letter index dividers, and backpacks (no wheels). These items can be dropped off at their facility on Friarsgate Blvd. Monday - Friday, 9:00am - noon.

Mission Lexington has updated their cover photo on Facebook, which means there is an urgent need in the community! Would you consider helping them out next time you run to the store? Currently, the most needed items include canned fruit, grits, beef stew, liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, all-purpose spray cleaner, toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, and razors. These items can be dropped off at their facility on Harmon Street Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm.

Who's been collecting their pop tabs!? Ronald McDonald House in Columbia is able to trade in the aluminum tabs off your beverage cans or soup cans in exchange for money! Make sure you save them and drop them off in the gray bin at the front doors of the facility anytime. If you would like a cute cardboard house to collect your tabs, they are available on the Connect Table after service. There is also still time to register for the golf tournament fundraiser! $2500 per team of four with a $10 per golf ball drop entry. Register for the fundraiser at rmhcofcolumbia.org.
